Protect Pennsylvania's Mothers and Babies

Pennsylvania is a leader in  fetal and maternal mortality 

In Pittsburgh Black and White women have among the highest fetal mortality rates of any city in the United States.

The Black maternal mortality rate in Pittsburgh is higher than the Black maternal mortality in 97 percent of similar cities. Philadelphia's maternal mortality rate is higher than the national average.

Regardless of race, Pittsburgh has more babies born with congenital anomalies than 80 percet of comparable cities.
